Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka City; President & CEO: Hiroyuki Matsumoto; below “DIS”) and MiTAC Japan Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toshihiko Hara; below “MiTAC Japan”), the Japanese subsidiary of MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation (MCT), a global provider of high-performance enterprise computing solutions, have entered into a distributor agreement to collaborate on sales of MiTAC Computing’s server products in Japan.

Japan’s industrial sector is experiencing rapid advancements in technological innovation involving cloud computing, data centers, AI, and analytics, and this is driving an urgent need for cost-efficient and energy-optimized IT infrastructure.

To address these market demands, DIS and MiTAC Japan will leverage MiTAC Computing’s flexible, high-performance server products, delivering integrated, high-value solutions across enterprise, data center, and AI/HPC environments.

With MiTAC Japan’s access to the global network of the Taiwan-based MiTAC Computing Technology Corporation (MCT) and DIS’s nationwide dealer network of 101 locations, the two companies will work together to aggressively open up markets.

DIS will utilize MiTAC’s next-generation server architecture with superior energy efficiency that contributes to reducing TCO and TCE, and will offer solutions with products that help optimize hybrid cloud environments and data center operations.
