Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd.

Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Head Offices: Kita-ku, Osaka City/Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto; hereinafter “DIS”) has entered into a partnership with Net Protections Holdings, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shin Shibata; hereinafter “Net Protections”) and will begin introducing NP Kakebarai, a business-to-business deferred payment service, to dealers who use iKAZUCHI, the subscription management portal operated by DIS.

Background and Objectives

Cloud services have become firmly established as a foundation underpinning corporate activities, and dealers are now expected not merely to supply IT equipment and software, but to support the business growth of their client companies through cloud utilization and the resolution of operational challenges.
In selling subscription-based services such as SaaS, however, billing operations become more complex with recurring and usage-based charges, and dealers also face challenges in credit screening of new clients, confirming payments, and addressing the risk of uncollected receivables. Such operational burdens and credit-related concerns can, at times, constrain dealers as they seek to propose and sell new services.
Against this backdrop, DIS is partnering with Net Protections to promote the use of NP Kakebarai by dealers who use iKAZUCHI. By drawing on the proprietary credit screening that Net Protections provides, dealers can more easily expand their sales opportunities to include companies with which they have traditionally been cautious about conducting credit sales.
In addition, by reducing the burden of billing and collection operations and the risk of uncollected receivables, DIS helps create an environment in which dealers can devote greater focus to proposing cloud and subscription services.
Through this partnership, DIS will support dealers who use iKAZUCHI in reducing their operational burden and expanding their sales opportunities, thereby contributing to the further growth of the cloud and subscription business.
Going forward, DIS will continue to work with dealers nationwide to provide services that support companies’ use of digital technology and to advance initiatives aimed at expanding its dealers’ businesses.

About NP Kakebarai

NP Kakebarai is a deferred payment service for business-to-business (BtoB) transactions. Net Protections acts as an intermediary between the seller and buyer companies, handling the settlement and billing operations; from credit assessment of the buyer, to invoice issuance, to collection of payment. By adopting it, seller companies can reduce the burden of their billing and collection operations and focus more readily on their core business. Furthermore, its guarantee against the risk of uncollected receivables helps build a stable foundation for their transactions.

By using iKAZUCHI, DIS dealers can reduce the ordering workload associated with the increasingly diverse array of subscription-based cloud services, and can centrally manage both the contracts and the users of recurring, stock-type businesses billed on a monthly or annual basis. It also accommodates complex cloud billing structures, such as usage-based (metered) charging.
