On December 1, 2025, Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Head Offices: Kita-ku, Osaka City/Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto; hereinafter “DIS”) received the Rising Star Distributor Partner of the Year - APJ, an award recognizing distribution partners that have achieved remarkable growth, at AWS re:Invent 2025 hosted by Amazon Web Services, Inc. (“AWS”) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 

The Rising Star Distributor Partner of the Year - APJ is awarded to Distributor Partners in the Asia-Pacific region who, among AWS-authorized distributors, have made sustained efforts to invigorate the businesses of numerous AWS partners and have achieved significant growth.
 

Since July 1, 2020, DIS has been working to promote cloud utilization across Japan together with its 101 sales offices nationwide and 19,000 dealers, having become the first distributor in Japan to handle AWS cloud services. With support from AWS, DIS has actively engaged in developing talent within the organization and providing education and technical support to its dealers. For companies considering the adoption of cloud services, DIS helps build an environment that enables them to use AWS Cloud with confidence by providing implementation support and managed services.
 

In July 2025, DIS also signed a comprehensive four-year program, the Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA), with AWS to accelerate cloud utilization and digital transformation (DX). Under this agreement, DIS will deepen its collaboration with AWS and its dealers and continue driving broader cloud adoption nationwide while expanding its AWS business.
