Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DIS; Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka, President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto) won the Rising Star Distributor Partner of the Year - APJ. It is conferred on a distribution partner that has achieved outstanding growth. DIS accepted the award on November 28, 2022 at the AWS re:Invent 2022 conference, organized and held by Amazon Web Services, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as AWS) in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

 

Rising Star Distributor Partner of the Year - APJ is the award given to a distributor that has contributed to activating the business of a number of AWS partners and who has achieved outstanding growth despite being a new AWS distributor in the Asia-Pacific region.

 

DIS began selling AWS cloud services on July 1,2020 as the first distributor in Japan. We almost immediately won the AWS Japan Certification Award 2020 - All Certifications of the Year and the AWS Japan Certification Award 2020 - Practitioner of the Year, demonstrating our company-wide efforts to upgrade our familiarity with AWS. In addition to these efforts, we had implemented a number of unique approaches and achieved remarkable growth in the AWS business. Our being awarded the Rising Star Distributor Partner of the Year - APJ this year was in recognition of the major growth we achieved through these initiatives.

DIS will actively develop their AWS business to promote further expansion of our AWS partner network. With the support of AWS, we will expand in-company human resource development, training and technical assistance for dealers, and various installation and managed services that enable users to easily and securely adopt cloud computing. We plan to promote the utilization of cloud computing throughout the country in cooperation with our approximately 19,000 dealers.
