Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DIS; Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto,) has concluded a distributor agreement for the Japanese market with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Zoom; Head Office: San Jose, California, USA; CEO: Eric Yuan), beginning a sales collaboration to offer products and solutions provided by Zoom in Japan.

It is critical to have the right solutions in place in this era of hybrid work, where making connections that promote productivity or raise the level of engagement can be difficult. As many of us return to the office, technology that supports inclusivity, equity, and meaningful collaboration will be essential not only for successful hybrid work strategies, but also for finding a sense of purpose.

Zoom's comprehensive communication platform is designed to help teams collaborate seamlessly, whether connecting via phone, chat, or meeting.

Zoom is an open platform powered by an ecosystem which partners offer customers the choice of great integration and apps, and third-party solutions that work seamlessly with Zoom to drive business outcomes. Zoom has also announced that it will continue to leverage AI in many products and services on its existing platform, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Team Chat, Zoom Whiteboard, Recording, Zoom Events, Zoom Rooms, and Zoom Contact Center.

These multiple Zoom solutions include Zoom AI Companion, the company’s generative AI assistant, designed to improve productivity and team efficiency by helping draft email and chat messages and summarizing meetings and chat threads.

Zoom’s future includes AI as an integral element as they plan to continue to introduce generative AI features designed to simplify the way we work.

DIS will provide information on Zoom's latest technology, products, and solutions to many partner companies and small and medium-sized customers in Japan through contents, webinars, and other methods, and will also expand its menu of support for engineers. In addition, as a distributor, DIS not only provides information and technical support related to products and solutions, but also enables smooth operation and management of account’s pay-as-you-go pricing through our subscription management portal "iKAZUCHI". In line with expanding the sales, educational and technical support, by making it correspond to the traditional commercial infrastructure of DIS, it will be possible to develop businesses that are suited for Japanese business customs, and we will disseminate our services to many partners and small and medium-sized customers in Japan.

DIS delivers products and solutions provided by Zoom to companies and local governments nationwide through approximately 19,000 sales partners with a community-based sales network with 94 locations across Japan. We will continue to collaborate with our sales partners across the country and support the digital transformation of customers.
