Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (DIS; headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka City; Representative Director, President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto) will begin offering the Copilot for Microsoft 365 Hands-on Fundamentals Course  as a new training course for its DX Education Service, a training service that is being deployed mainly targeting small and medium-sized businesses. This course will help Microsoft 365 users who are considering introducing generative AI technology to quickly familiarize themselves with it and make productivity gains using generative AI.

Amid the urgent issue of a shortage of human resources at small and medium-sized businesses due to the declining working-age population, there are numerous companies that are considering using AI to improve their operations and reduce the workload of their employees.
In recent years, generative AI has evolved remarkably, and there is a growing expectation that it will be used in the business world. At the same time, the barriers to the use of AI remain high, as there is often a lack of knowledge and skills needed for effective use.
To help solve this human resource shortage challenge for small and medium-sized enterprises and support the enhancement of corporate value, DIS will be holding a basic course where participants can get practical experience working with Copilot, a generative AI, to see how it can bring about changes in work using Microsoft 365.

  • Those involved in promoting digital transformations

The adoption of generative AI is advancing rapidly in the Japanese market, but it has yet to reach the point of effective use, with some pointing out that its adoption by small and medium-sized companies and at the workplace level is lagging behind. Making use of AI to make efficiency gains in operations, and then using the time saved to work on new initiatives, such as creating new businesses and solving social issues, makes it possible to increase value and competitiveness.
DIS aims to drive digital transformation in the Japanese market by advancing AI integration in digital transformation education services and broadening support options for developing digital talent. This will enhance the market competitiveness of dealers and customers across the country.
