The Daiwabo Information Systems (DIS) Group uses an advanced logistics center function and inventory management system to deliver goods ordered by customers promptly and efficiently. By consolidating and reducing the number of shipments, DIS reduces fuel consumption and exhaust gas emissions related to transportation.

In order to reduce the environmental impact of its logistics activities, Daiwabo is focusing on the shift to rail transport, the utilization of bulk containers, and attempts to maximize the load capacity of trucks.
As part of its efforts to prevent global warming, KANBO PRAS CORPORATION is promoting the use of Japan Rail containers to its customers in cooperation with their businesses.
The DIS Group is promoting the introduction of vehicles with the lowest possible environmental impact in its fleet of business vehicles. In fiscal 2021, DIS switched all 145 of its sales vehicles to low-emission vehicles, of which 98 were hybrid vehicles, accounting for about 68% of its vehicles. DIS will continue to introduce hybrid vehicles in this manner.
The marine-biodegradable rayon fiber “e:CORONA™” has been confirmed through testing to have high biodegradability. It is derived from natural materials, biodegradable in both soil and seawater, and environmentally friendly. This is a safe and human-friendly material that can be used for various purposes with peace of mind. It has already been successfully used in food packaging and flushable wet tissues, and we are promoting the development of other items.
The biodegradable, thermally-adhesive composite fiber “miracle®fiberKK-PL” is composed of 75% plant-derived biodegradable ingredients. Simply burying this material in the ground is enough for the fibers to decompose naturally.
"miracle®fiberKK-PL" demonstrates the decomposition of polybutylene succinate (PBS), the sheath component. |

“Recovis™” is a rayon fiber successfully produced by DAIWABO RAYON CO., LTD., working in cooperation with several companies and research institutions, by reusing used cotton clothing, shredded waste cotton, and other kinds of cotton waste as a raw material. The Group has been using Circulose® pulp - 100% recycled material produced by Swedish recycling company Renewcell - as part of its raw material.

As a distributor, DIS promotes green IT which can contribute to environmental conservation through the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, by promoting sales and proposing the application of various ecological products such as power-saving equipment, software, and supply products. We also support green procurement and purchasing for corporations, by providing a service that uses the “iDATEN” corporate e-commerce system we operate, which is one of the largest in the IT industry, to allow customers to confirm that IT products they have searched for are environmentally friendly.

O-M Ltd. makes customer “wants” tangible, and develops, manufactures, and sells products that are friendly to both people and the planet.
In the RT -915 and Neoα-EX series, O-M Ltd. has reduced the total power supply capacity required by equipping these products with energy-saving functions as standard, eliminating hydraulic units, and reducing the size of servo motors. Through such products, they are working to contribute to the environment and society.
