When was the company founded?
The company was founded in April 1941. Daiwabo was formed by the merger of four companies: Kinka Boseki, Hinode Boshoku, Izumo Seishoku, and Wakayama Boshoku.
The current Daiwabo Holdings was established in July 2009.

When was the company listed?
The company was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in May 1949.
Although they are now wholly-owned subsidiaries of the group, Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (a core company in the IT infrastructure distribution business) and O-M Ltd. (a core company in the industrial machinery business) were listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange from September 2000 and November 1971 respectively, until Daiwabo Holdings and these companies integrated their management structures.
